Hamza Hussain
I study Applied Mathematics and Physics at NYU, split between Tandon and the Courant Institute. My work lives at the intersection of optimization, quantum technology, and computational research.
I grew up between cultures and have studied in Abu Dhabi, Hanoi, and Seoul. That shapes everything: how I think about problems, how I collaborate, and what I believe research is ultimately for.
Outside the lab I march with a drum corps, build things with Arduino, and lead community at NYU. I think the best technical work is done by people who care about more than the technical work.
